Reports from security circle on Wednesday indicated that a major
financier of a kidnapping ring in Edo and the surrounding states,
Kelvin Oburuvbe, has been arrested by operatives of the SSS.
"We have been on his trail for more than two years. He is responsible
for most of the high profile kidnap in the state. The latest is the
kidnap of Chief Mike Ozekhome in August this year."
It was gathered that the kidnap kingpin was rounded up with some of his
loyal boys while they were enjoying themselves at a popular hotel in
Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
