PHOTOS: 30-Feet Nelson Mandela Bronze Statue Unveiled In Pretoria

Today Monday 16th December 2013, a 30-feet bronze statue of Nelson Mandela was unveiled by South African president Jacob Zuma at the Union Buildings in Pretoria, South Africa.
This honour comes after he was laid to rest yesterday 15th December 2013 in the remote village of Qunu where he grew up. Idris Elba, Oprah Winfrey and partner Stedman Graham, Richard Branson , Desmond Tutu, George Bush , and Joyce Banda, were some of the high profile guests at the ceremony.
Zuma, at the unveiling, said the statue with Mandela's arms outstretched, symbolised a democratic South Africa united as a rainbow nation.
"He is embracing the country. Both hands are embracing the entire nation," Zuma said.
The President said Mandela's footwork was the same - showing that he was on the move, as is the country.
